Chris Allen was born in Dublin and has been writing poetry for more than twenty years.
tom barrett
Tom Barrett worked in Accountancy before moving into foreign exchange with the American Express company in Dublin. In the early sixties he began selling accounting machines, leading inturn to a career in computer programming. He ran a small software house until his recent retirement. A late starter to writing, he has been with Deansgrange Writers Group for about a year.
declan houton
Declan Houton is a native of Dalkey, County Dublin and a founding member of Deansgrange Writers Group. He prefers to write within the defined structure of metered rhyme, often using political/social satire for material, usually with the same human and comic touch that has made him the ‘glue’ of the group. He is also a committed volunteer with the Haven Partnership, a charity which builds houses in Haiti.
fergus kelly
Fergus Kelly returned to Dublin after a number of years working in India. However, being in the export business, he continued to travel the world extensively until retirement - settling into a more leisurely and less stressful lifestyle of golf, fly fishing and walking. His experiences abroad have provided him with a most valuable and interesting background for his short story writing.
